Enter the world of intricate patterning and abstract “micro mapping” in this workshop led by textile artist Tony. Inspired by his striking red circular artwork, participants will explore dense mark making, layered textures, and geometric organic motifs to create their own richly detailed textile fragment. You’ll experiment with stitched linework, mesh structures, concentric forms, and clustered textures, learning how small repeated marks can build complex visual worlds. This session encourages curiosity, close observation, and intuitive pattern building, making it suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike. Everyone will leave with a unique circular piece that captures their own imagined landscape in a colour of your own choice.
