Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus compensation.

2. VAT

We are not VAT registered and VAT is not applicable.

3. Tuition Services

Tuition services (such as embroidery or textile art workshops, classes or courses) are subject to

availability and are delivered as described at the time of booking. Cancellations with less than 48

hours’ notice may not be refundable. Rescheduling is at our discretion. Tuition is nontransferable unless otherwise agreed.

4. Embroidery Kits and Products

All products and kits are described as accurately as possible on our website. Each kit contains materials and instructions as advertised. Minor variations in colour or texture may occur due to supplier changes or screen display differences.

5. Consumer Rights and Cancellation

In compliance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, customers purchasing products or tuition services online or at a distance have a right to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods or confirmation of their service booking.

• For products, you must notify us in writing (email or letter) of your wish to cancel within this 14-day period. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging within 14 days of cancellation.

• For tuition services, you may cancel within 14 days of booking unless the class takes place within that period and has already been delivered in full. If you request that a class begin within the 14- day window and we provide it, you waive your cancellation rights once delivery is

completed.

• We will refund any sums due within 14 days of cancellation (and receiving any returned goods, if applicable).

• Return postage costs for non-faulty goods are the responsibility of the customer.

Full details of your rights and our returns process are available at:  www.themanbroiderer.com/terms
